The 105,000-square-foot Bel Air megamansion, which took well over 10 years to build, has come across its share of logistical and legal problems over the years, but was finally sold at auction on March 3. While the original auction asking price was $295 million—itself a reduction from the $340 million listing price in 2021, and the $500 million price tag before that—the home ended up selling for $126 million.

The One Bel Air, also known as The One, is a 100,000-square-foot Bel Air mega-mansion with 26-foot-high ceilings located at Stradella Rd, Los Angeles, CA, United States. The mansion has special features including a 5,500-square-foot master suite, 42 bathrooms, 21 bedrooms, as well as a private nightclub, a 50-seat movie theater, a 400-foot-long jogging track, a 4-lane bowling alley, a 30-car garage gallery, a 10,000-square-foot sky deck, 5 swimming pools, and a 10,000 bottle wine cellar. The mansion is considered the largest modern home for sale in the country. The One Bel Air was developed by Nile Niami, a former film producer who turned real estate developer. It was designed by architect Paul McClean and interior designer Kathryn Rotondi.
